First and foremost, we only train HUNTING dogs.  We do not have a problem with non-hunting breeds we just choose to specialize in pointing breeds for upland hunting. We offer hourly training for ALL pointing bird dogs. We use a variety of different training techniques adapted to the dog’s individual personality. We also will provide tips and tricks for the do it yourselfer.

We will use Quail, Chukar, Duck’s, Pheasant and Pigeons in our training to simulate hunting situations. Griffons are a versatile breed, so we will include waterfowl training.

It is important to note that if you are specifically training a Griff you must remember they require a cool and calm temperament when being worked with. Owners tend to be too harsh while training them, treating them like any other dog. In a shorter explanation, Griffs get their feelings hurt easy due to their strong drive to please their humans. 

 

Tip: The best training is to hunt your dog early in its development and often.  The best Hunting dogs are those who get early exposure to the birds you are hunting their natural instinct will take over.
